With BeyondDocs you create powerful document templates entirely in Microsoft Word. Each published document creates an online questionnaire from the questions and form fields you define in your document template. Once the template is created, all you need to do is fill out the online form and your custom document is automatically generated.
Available in the Microsoft Office Add-In Store
When adding your questions, you have the choice between the following question field types:
You can add conditions to each question you create, creating dynamic workflows and paths in your questionnaire.
Selectively hide/show words, phrases, or entire paragraphs with the built-in condition generator. After creating your condition, click “Send to Doc” to insert the condition statement directly into your document template.
Customize your documents even further by attaching static PDFs or even other published BeyondDocs document templates.
Common use cases include attaching:
When a document includes an attachment, it’s downloaded as a *.zip file rather than a *.docx file and all of the contents are provided within the Zip Archive.
Attachments can be made available conditionally by inserting the attachment field within a condition statement.
Once your document template is set up, you can generate dynamic, error free documents as fast as you can fill out your questionnaire via a simple web form. Say goodbye find and replace.
See how easy it isto setup your template and generate a dynamic document from start to finish within a few minutes.

Publishing your document template sends a copy of your document to the BeyondDocs template engine along with any customizations provided in the Question Designer and Template Designer.
When published, you will receive a “Share” link which can be used to access the online questionnaire. You will also receive a “manager” link to manage the document, including downloading backup (document revision) from a previously published document template.
With large, complex documents, something will inevitably go wrong. Using the manager link (provided after publishing), you can log in to the online portal to download a previously uploaded template. The versioned template contains your original document, including the BeyondDocs data in the Question Designer and Template Designer.
Please Note: These tools are still experimental and aide in advanced document creation and debugging. Ensure you have proper backups in place before using any tools.
